ABSTRACT

Sarcoidosis is a systemic inflammatory disease.

While the potential for this condition to affect any organ in the body exists, involvement of the gallbladder is a rare occurrence.

The following case report presents a patient who was admitted with a diagnosis of cholelithiasis and underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Pathological analysis of the specimen revealed a case of sarcoidosis of the Mascagni node.
